Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. While growing up alongside the rest of her siblings, she was often bullied by classmates due to her huge legs. Graham was identified as having hyperactivity/attention deficit disorder soon following her graduation from elementary school. Graham overcame this obstacle as well as other challenges throughout her early years. Graham was discovered in Nebraska by a talent agent when she was just 12 years old. Her face appeared in advertisements and magazines prior to her graduation at Lincoln Southwest High School. Due to her unique physique, it hard for her to secure employment at the beginning of her modeling career. Graham took on a variety of catalog modeling offers over the years. But, she was always told that it would be difficult for her to advance beyond smaller tasks. It was fortunate that she proved her sessions casters wrong and make rapid strides in her career. Sally Singer interviewed her for "Vogue's" 2007 issue. This gave her the first opportunity to break into the industry. In 2009, she appeared on "Glamour magazine"'s "These Bodies Can be Beautiful regardless of size" together with Sally Singer. Graham made headlines once more in 2009, after she was featured in the scandalous Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was banned in many countries. By the time the commercial was taken off YouTube, it had been viewed over 800,000. The controversy escalated to the point that Graham was a guest on Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Graham gained not long after her fame and is now one of today's best-known larger models. Grande began singing and acting when she was young. She was cast in the year 2008 when she was cast for the Broadway production 13 shortly thereafter, and started appearing in small roles on TV shows. Her biggest break occurred in the year 2010 when she got a lead role on the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent who was enrolled in a school of performing arts. The year 2013 saw the cancellation of the sitcom in 2013, she appeared on the sitcom Sam & Cat.
