Her most well-known work is her character Ashley Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. She began singing at the age of 4. Her mother encouraged her to invite her to an audition with Sesame Street. She started acting as regular performers in 1985, when she was just 6 years old. older on Sesame Street, a PBS children's television show.
